With the rise of craft beers in Brazil, popular major breweries lost a devastating 1% of market share and introduced their own artisanal lines to counter this. Bastards, an independent brewery, responded by borrowing the marketing of Brazil's top-selling beer, Skol, for their new IPA, It's Cóu—inspired by their name, tagline, and visuals.
